Can't access Internet Browser on Bravia TV

I have a new Bravia. When i try to access the Web through the Applications Menu, Internet Browser it takes me to a "choose Country" page and after selecting UK, to the Sony UK Website.. I can't get further than this. Is there a way to access a web browser.

Unlike twitter, which only allows a max of 140 characters to type, you can type more in the message box on these forums.  In order to help you we need more information.  Please reply back with more detailed information (ie, TV Model, error messages, why can't you access the internet, do other apps work - like youtube and any relevant details).

My internet connection is active. When I tried to view BBC iplayer on bravia tv, I was unable to connect because the connection can't be established. Also when I tried the internet browser, the error was 'Couldn't connect to remote server. Please advise how I can connect to internet using TV.

I am trying to view Bravia internet videos ie; BBC IPLAYER etc it says connection can't be established. When I use internet browser on TV it displays the url it picked up as  https://rdi .sony.net/tv1. The message displayed as 'couldn't connect to remote server.

My tv name is Sony Bravia

Serial no:3602485

Software version: PKG4.027EUA-0104

This TV hasn't been used for atleast more than 4 months.

Do not know how access google on internet. system keeps saying ettor. manual is useless. should be able to acess website such as metopera.org with little effort innstead of this nonesense. no thought for the user.most unsatisfactory.

I seem to be having the same sort of problem with regards to not being able to access the web on my TV and not being albe to find the 'app' in the Opera TV Store!

My TV model is a Sony 40W605 Televison bought from a Curry's store in 2016.

I'm not sure what year it was made etc but I just can't seem to find the internet app anywhere!

I've searched in the Opera TV Store for WWW app but I've had no luck! I'm normally pretty good with tech stuff too.

Can anyone PLEASE help????? Me and my family are desprate to browse the web on the TV as it was the whole point we bought a smart TV.

Any advice?? Any help??

Your app could be on the last PAGE of all apps, having a name of www. I don't know if changing icons size of character can help your search.

If not possible then there is something wrong. Check if there is an app in the Opera TV store called URL Loader. Must be similar but difficult to use with remote. I don't know if a keyboard can help.

@amberlycot- unless you have a 2015 or 2016 Android TV, the ITVPlayer or All4 is not available.  Unfortunately you have not mentioned your tv model number?
