Edited .jpg-files don't show

Why do certain .jpg-files not show up on the Bravia KDL-22EX320 when I run them from an USB-stick?

These files are the ones - or some of the ones - which are EDITED, in this case by "Graphic Converter" for mac. (A "photoshop-like" application.

I can make them show by "save for web" - but with many photos edited that can take a long time.

Any smarter way?

Martin

Hi Martin,

Here is Sony's answer from 'speciaist-convergence': -

I use IrfanView which allows me to batch convert the whole album in one go to 1920 X 1080 at 51% quality.

All my pictures are shown properly at this resolution. Your TV does not need more than 1920 X 1080 and has to convert to this - so you may as well pre-convert to this resolution.

Have a look here for why you should choose quality of 51% or a little more: -

Thanks a lot.

Meanwhile I found out - what probably is about the same - that using "Save for web" in "Graphic Converter" (which is kind of "my Photoshop") solves the problem. But it does take som time!
