Forwarding and rewinding on iplayer

On the KDLHX853, when i am watching iplayer and press the forward button, it forward 20 minutes.

Is this standard, or am i doing something wrong. How can yo forward e.g. by 1 minute or 5 minutes.

Also is there a way to enter what time in the video you would like to forward to.

Much if this is down to the BBC - not sure if you can enter a specific time to skip to, but you should be able to forward at a slower rate. I don't have a compatible TV infront of me today, but I'll check on Monday if that helps.
