HDMI 1 and HDMI 2 on KDL-43WF663

I have my Virgin Tivo plugged into HDMI1 (which is also ARC), and Apple TV plugged into HDMI 2 - but when I switch iinputs, HDMI 1 and HDMI 2 have the same Virgin Tivo signal!

any ideas?

Hi Matthew,

Welcome to the community.

Please take a look at  this guide for switching inputs on your TV and let us know if it helps.

Best wishes,

Ed

I can switch between HDMI 1 and HDMI 2 - but both show the same thing... I have to turn the Virgin TIVO off to display the Apple TV (which is plugged into HDMI 2) - and HDMI 1 and 2 show the Apple TV signal, if I turn the Apple TV off, then the Virgin TIVO (which is plugged into HDMI 1), displays on both HDMI 1 and HDMI 2....

If I plug Apple TV into HDMI 1, same thing happens

It's really most perplexing!!

This does not help.

If both HDMI inputs have a device attached, then I can switch between inputs - BUT BOTH SHOW THE SAME DEVICE!!

I can only see a different device if I turn one off... and then BOTH INPUTS SHOW THE SAME SIGNAL

am totally utterly confused...

Hi @matthew_norman

As this is a relatively new TV your first port of call should be the Retailer or contact  Sony UK Support if that is not possible.

I take it you are satisfied that the HDMI cables are in good condition and there is no cross over etc. If it was me I would try a Reset or Factory Reset to ensure that you are starting with a clean sheet.
