I have a Sony tv model KDL46Z5500 and attached to it a Sony sound system SA-WFS3
All was working perfectly, but I had to disconnect the set up to install a new TV unit and seince reconnecting, the TV remote will not operate the sound. I have to use the sound system remote.
I have tried disconnecting the optical cable from the TV, changing the sound setting on the TV from audio system to TV and this worked okay.
But when I reconnected the optical cable and set the TV sound system back to audio system, the problem was back again.
I do have another optical cable running from the audio sub woofer to my Sky Q box.
Somehow, I have connected something up incorrectly.
