How to install DIVX code in to Sony TV

I wonder if anyone knows how to actually install the DIVX software given now I have registered the Sony TV please?

Hi,

as far as im aware you dont need to, your Bravia has DivX built in, just load your files from your computer onto a USB flash drive and your tv will play them.

Thanks for quick reply but I do have to register as I have been given a code to register on the DIVX website supposidly telling me how to register (TV is not registered)

Hi

I think that's just for 'DivX pro' files which basically don't exist anymore. Any regular divx file will play fine without registration. Best thing to do is just chuck one on a USB and give it a go.
