KD-49XF7003 - Netflix App Li[ Sync Issue

Issue with lip sync watching Netflix using the APP in the TV.  Watching via Virgin Box is okay.

Hi @ifeelsofunky  (love the name :D)

 

Have you tried resetting your TV?

Turn off your TV then unplug the power lead for two minutes,

then plug the lead back in and switch on.

 

(Support would ask you to try this anyway)

First thing I tried.  Looks to be an issure with the APP as all other connections to the TV - virgin box, Roku etc works fine.

 

Lets just hope a firmeware for the TV or the APP is updated soon to finx the issue.

 

I'm also having issue with the TV having no sound after change a channel - onyl happens once and while.  The top bar with the HDMI number and screen res stays so it's like it is trying to handshake for the audio or something.

 

I thought with Sony I would have no issues but had so many with the Sony TV and Sony Soundbar.  I'm gibing it a week and then I am taking it back to Argos and buying a LG.

I'd suggest contacting Support about this to at least voice your grievance

but also just in case they may know of any updates due or potential workarounds

(minus the reset that is :wink: )

I couldn't find your model on the Argos site to do a price comparison for you,

but have you thought about an Android Bravia as a replacement?

I fully understand.

The only reason I mentioned the Android Bravias was that there is more room for

manouvre regarding updating apps and installing your own both from Google Play Store and

elsewhere too.

 

If you do get in touch with Support though please let us know their advice in case it helps

another member who may have a similar problem.
