KDL-22EX553 - YouTube Has Stopped Working

My YouTube app on SEN has stopped working, I can't access it at all. I press it and the app doesn't even load, it just stay on the SEN screen.

It says my TV software is up to date and I checked the post which lists Sony TV models YouTube has been discontinued on and my model isn't one of those listed. Other apps like iPlayer and TED are working fine.

Any ideas?

Have you tried a reset? Have a look at this thread. It's possible the YouTube app itself has been updated and a reset might get you going again.

Unfortunately not. The YouTube app has now disappeared totally!

So I did the reset, then the app was no longer there.
