Kdl42w653a mirroring

Does anyone know if you can connect an ipad to the kdl42w653a via wifi? So I can use the mirror feature. I have found the network on the ipad but it asks me for a password which I don't have? Thanks

However, in short, Apple products use a different technology which is not compatible.  You will need AppleTV for it to work.
