KLV-L32M1 turns off randomly

Please help! My treasured KLV-L32M1 turns itself off and then back on randomly. The odd things is it only happens when you connect AV feeds to the machine's rear scart and component sockets. Link devices up via the front composite connector and it's fine. It only powers down for a second. The red standby button blinks on and then back to green.

No help I'm afraid but I've been having a similar problem with with my KLV-L32m1, can't check the composite ports as  don't have anything to plug in, I just have an hd box which goes to the component ports

Finally today I've lost the picture entirely though sound is still working.

Did you get anywhere with yours or is it something that can't be fixed
