No Audio to Yamaha AV from Audio Out RCA from TV

i am looking for some helo getting the audio working from my new Bravia KDL-40EX723, i have selected "audio out" instead of headphones from the menu but still no joy, i know that the output cable and AV are fine because when i plug the same leads into my SONY blu-ray i get audio out fine.

can any one help please??

Hi,

since you dont mention specs for the Yamaha i will hazard a guess it does, why dont you connect the tv to the Amp using a Digital Optical cable?, far better option.
