Picasa Login - KDL-55W829
Seems I am unable to login to the Picasa app on my recently purchased KDL-55W829. Returns the error that my login credentials are not correct but this is not true. Have used these credentials on all other devices and login just fine.
I get a message to my google account suggesting suspicious activity (attempted login) in each login attempt. Have also tried the 2 step verification process...makes no difference.
I suspect Sony's server is blocked by Google or visa verse?
Please investigate or advise!

Hi there
The information I have got is that its a Google issue not Sony. So... Can you please try the following and see if it works.
- Open your web browser (on the TV) and sign in to Gmail at http://mail.google.com/mail. If you see a word verification request, type the letters in the distorted picture and finish signing in.
- Close your browser and try accessing Picasa again.
Fingers Crossed.
Cheers

Hey there
Its under "All Apps" - This thread should explain where it is:
http://community.sony.co.uk/t5/televisions/internet-connectivity/td-p/1648559
And
http://community.sony.co.uk/t5/televisions/internet-browser-access-on-kld-32w706b/m-p/1662121
However its a bit of a long shot to be honest.
Cheers

Thats a shame. Ok, below is exactly what I have been told - See if you can make head or tails on it, as I cannot. The links in the email I get are nothing to do with confirming its me - do you? Im not sure If im being thick here, so....
"
It's a Google issue. When you change a device or use a new device with an existing Google account Google warns you as they think your account might be hacked. Therefore you need to confirm that you're the real user by clicking on the link in the e-mail.
"
Why does it suddenly work for me - Pass (maybe ive tried so many times, Google gives up and thinks im me!)
Cheers
