seems to be more visable on darker scenes.
anyone any ideas the cause?
thanks for any replies.
Hi,
Difficult to be sure from a photo but it looks to me that there are massive amounts of picture processing (or over processing !) going on.
Have you been into the menu and turned off all the unnecessary options ?
I wrote a fairly detailed review of the Sony KDL 55W829 on Amazon in which I gave suggested settings. Although your's is not the same TV it will have a lot of common settings that are just not needed and can lead to poor pictures. The review is titled "A Jack of all trades and a master of one "
If you haven't been through the settings options it may help.
Of course your problem may be something different but as I said it is difficult to analyse from the photos.
Good luck !
Many thanks for taking the time to reply,
Great review I have bookmarked it, and will try your settings for sure.
The TV just got picked up today for repair, a couple of hours before your post, it was driving
me demented,
I was actually starting to notice more even on standard Lve Tv Like ITV HD,
As soon as returned, will look at trying your settings.
Hi,
Keeping my fingers crossed that all will be sorted out for you when you receive the TV back from repair.
Please post again to let me know how you get on.
Regards , Alex.
