Having recently bought a Smart TV we bought Bluetooth headphones at Christmas. Despite several attempts with these and other Bluetooth devices we were unable to pair with the TV. We have been informed by Sony that the TV will only pair with keyboards and mouse! The reason for buying the TV was to use this facility as I am hard at hearing and the earphones help greatly. However, we have a small Bluetooth device called a JETech and we plugged this into the earphone socket on the TV and it paired with it. We then paired the device with the headphones and plugged it back into the TV, perfect. This has also been successful with a Bluetooth speaker we have.
We were advised by Sony that many of their customers have the same complaint. Perhaps this will work for others. JETech website is www.jetech-design.com..
