Sony Bravia KDL-40WE663

After buying this TV on 05/08/2019 (so less than one year old), and after doing the obligatory review, in which I then pointed out that the EPG was very slow, unwieldy, and lacking in features, I now find that I am seeing vertical bars across the width of the screen, spaced about 3-4 inches apart

They started off faint, but are now becoming more prominent, and I see them all the time, no matter what colour of background

I honestly wish I had never bought this TV - it's probably the worse one I have ever had

So, Sony, what are you going to do about it?

I am pleased to report that Sony have come up trumps with this issue. They offered me a like-for-like swap with my faulty TV, which was carried out quickly and efficiently (and Covid-19 aware, I might add). I now have a TV that works perfectly
