217S - discolouring around the touch pad...?

Had my A217S for a couple of months and there's a yellow/brwn discolouration around the touch pad edges. I don't use it that much as I use the mouse mostly.

Anyone else seen this..? I've tried cleaning it with a lightly damp cloth but it seems permanently discoloured.

Very unusual? Do you just have very dirty hands???? lol
It might be the heat of the computer affecting the surface, if you leave your laptop on for long periods of time.

Discolouration and wear of the coating on the A series seems to be pretty common. I've seen a few posts about this now.

Are you using your laptop in a wet environment at all? Sounds like it's got a touch of damp to me.

I HAVE HEARD OF ALOT OF PROBLEMS WITH THE A SERIES LAPTOPS AND SONY DONT WANT TO DO NOTHING ABOUT ANYTHING ALL. THE ONLY THING SONY CARE ABOUT IS THAT THE LAPTOPS WORK THEY DONT CARE ABOUT HOW THEY LOOK. I OWN AN A SERIES AND HAD PROBLEMS AND I WOULD NOT BUY ONE AGAIN!!! SORRY THE ONLY OTHER THING SONY CARE ABOUT IS MAKING MONEY!
