A115Z Ram question (Replace DDr with DDR2)

Hey all, hope you can help.

I have a A115Z and I am looking to upgrade the RAM, someone I know has some RAM from a FE11 for sale. Basically would this be compatible.

Hi neilquane,

Sorry but your A115Z will not work with DDR2 RAM so the memory from a FE11will not be any use.

You can only use DDR-PC2700 DDR333MHz modules in your A115Z - Sony say a maximum of 1024MB (2 X 512MB) but Crucial say 2048MB (2 X 1024MB) and Crucial will guarantee it works.
