The 'PCG' number should be printed on the back of the FS's AC power adaptor..

Hi Thalamus thanks for the post and the welcome I do not have the original psu and cannot find any reference to the part number through specs on sony web site. Have used the psu off another vaio unit vgp-ac19v26 which is the right voltage and works the unit fine but I am unsure that the current output is ok on long term basis dont want to fry the battery or internal motherboard circuitry many thanks again Metal-tech,,
