After hibernation internet won't work

Have Vaio VPCS11V9E after hibernating the internet stops working, wifi remains connected it just won't surf or download emails using outlook.

The only cure is to re-start the computer.

Using IE8 but same problem with IE9 and Google Chrome... any help would be appreciated.
