Has anyone had problems with the release lever that is supposed to release the battery on the back of the vaio. My vaio is an E series and although I bought it 2 months ago I only discovered it was faulty when I tried to remove the battery last week. Sony are trying to blame me for what is quite clerly a manufacturing fault saying it was accidental damage. I did not assemble the laptop top so how could it be my fault they are demanding £165 for the repair.
Has anyone else had a simular experience with Sony if so please state in your reply which series your vaio is.
