AR21s when i open the lid after closing it the screen will not turn back on?

when i open the lid of my laptop after closing it, the screen will not turn on. it is running vista.
Can any one please shed light on this please?

There is a BIOS update R0200J6 for the AR31S that addresses this problem in Vista but it is your decision to try it or not.

I really can't tell you that. It seems odd to me that there is not a BIOS Update for the AR21 for Vista - there is one for most other recent models.

Perhaps it is safest to wait - or try to ring Sony Vaio-Link Support and ask them if it is the same BIOS for the AR21 and AR31 series.
