I have a s2vp. Battery moves (even if it is lock).
The noise is irritating!
Is it a bad assemblation?
Thanks for replies:smileysad:

The battery shouldn't vibrate at all! Can you give us any further information?
battery vibration:smileyconfused:
true, the labtop makes soft "surrrrrren" or "bssssssssssssss"
but I can hear this onle, if the labtop is off.
That shouldn't happen really.
I would speak to Sony about it.
Sorry for my bad english!!!
This is no a real vibration... (electric vibration..)
When i move my vaio the battery "shakes".
The "lodging" of the battery, or the battery, is non perfect or not of the right dimension.
This problem (manufacuring fault ??) meake the laptop not solid and frim...
Is it a common problem or i'am crazy??
Thanks for the reply
Mmmh, that's not normal on a Labtop.
I have this same problem with my Amplifer . (300Pound? wow, in germany you can't buy this more)
But I have fixed this problem. I have grounded the amplifer.
You must search a blank metal piece on your Labtop. For example the printer port or other.
You need a cable, but the cable on the blank metal piece. But the other side of the cable on a radiator. (In germany a radiator must be gounded)
You Labtop is grounded now too. After this, the problem is fixed (but not for ever). If the problem not fixed, then you have any other problem.:smileysad:
Seb, I think that you have misunderstood. There is NO electrical vibration.
The problem appears to be that the battery can be heard to rattle when the notebook is moved:smileyconfused:
There is NO electrical vibration.
The C1 had a similar problem, the battery did move quite a bit.
