iam a user with a VGN FE31-Z.
1.
i had to disable the hyperthreading in the bios.
but the bios is a small-version.
where are the hole functions, look like as Desktop PCs ?????? disabled?
2.
i had to ad the boot.ini to start with a changed config. (multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(2)\WINDOWS="Windows XP ohne Hyperthreading" /fastdetect /numproc=1)
because i doesnt can change the boot.ini file by saving. also in the savemode of xp!!
how can i change the boot.ini????

Hi Armin,
Your Core2Duo processor does not support Hyperthreading - so it will make no difference at all if it is enabled in the BIOS or not. There is no need to change the BIOS or BOOT.INI.
The last Intel Processors to use HT were the P4 series.
