Bluetooth problem

Hi All,

I have a sony Vaio VPCCW1S1E/R. This came with a bluetooth in-built. I believe it was Broadcom. It used to work fine until one day it stopped working. It must have been an update.

I have since gone to the Vaio website and tried to download the latest drivers, no joy. I tried the original drivers that came with it when it was shipped out. No joy. I tried drivers form 3rd party sites and even the broadcom site. everytime my Win 7 says that the driver is not the right one.

My hardware device manager says the peripheral bluetooth device is not installed properly and has the yellow exclamation mark next to it.

Any suggestions please?

Sorry but no solution, only commiseration.  Same has happened on my VGN TZ21.  No faults shown but no Bluetooth, despite reinstalling drivers etc.

Try and use this program (http://www.driveridentifier.com/) to find drivers for free. I used it to find update for a friends graphics card and his usb bus controller (worked perfectly).

Hope this helps write a reply saying what happened.
