Build In Webcam

Hi,

I have recently obtained the VPCEB1E0E notebook with the build in webcam. It also suppose to have Motion Eye with it and it seems to work to a certain degree. As the webcam cannot tilt up or down I have to use the physical screen to do that and this off course does not make good viewing from my point of view. If I have the screen situated in such a way that I can work on it half my face if cut off at the bottom.

So I there a way that the "motion eye" or something else can track my face regardless of how the screen is positioned.

Or maybe the only way to resolve this issue is to purchase an external webcam.

Hi Fred and welcome.

Unfortunately the camera lens is fixed.

I assume it is called 'Motion-Eye' because it can record moving images that pass in front of it!!!!
