can't delete a file

Hi, I have a problem with deleting a file. It is a song I have downloaded but the name appears too long and now it cannot play or be moved or deleted. Please someone give me advise how to delete it

Hi, I tryed this program but I cannot put the file into program initially to be able to use it. This file cannot be moved,copied,deleted,renamed or played. I just don't know how it happened. Even if I press right button over it the menu that appears is different than the usual menu with options for renaming,deleting and so on, just giving me options for playing it, but it cannot be played

Have you tried clicking the file once then press and hold the shift key, whislt holding down the shift key press delete.

Have you tried booting into safe mode (F8) and deleting the file?

Also what type of file is it (MP3, etc.)?

If all else fails download Move on Boot, that should sort it.

Usually rebooting makes it possible to delete a file
