hello. I am new owner of sony vaio. I like it very much, but there is one thing i am not satisfied with. battery charges only to 90%, somtimes 94%. can anyone tell me why. I charge battery over the nihgt. sorry my english. I am from slovenia.thanks. :smileygrin:

Well, as a starting point Vista's boot takes a lot of battery! Second if the battery is new (less than 1 month 4 example), it is quite normal cause battery needs some full cycles of complete charge/recharge.
I have (had?) an FZ21S and my battery life was so short, some1 told me it was linked 2 double lamp technology...anyway to solve your problem I personalized "Vaio Optimized" setting turning "Vaio Power Management" off. Be sure of doing a full recharge (0%->100%) and then see.

Anyway, what are you getting for battery life in normal use?
