Clean install of Windows 7 Professional on VGN-NW11Z

Hi

I'd like to format my hd and perform a clean install of Windows 7 Prof which I have a copy of. I don't want any of the sony utilities that are currently installed. Is there a list of drivers etc that I will need to download and install plus instructions? Have often done this on desktop but this is first laptop I've owned - is it basically the same process?

Hi John and welcome to the forum.

Yes it is basically the same procedure for notebooks with the exception of the various utilities that control function keys etc.

You will find updates for any drivers and utilities that are necessary for the Win 7 upgrade on the support site (click Support at the top of this page and log in with your model number -> under downloads you will find a Windows 7 tab).
