Core2Duo for Laptops

I was reading an artical last night about the C2D CPUs.They will be the called the 'Merion' for Laptops,now heres the goodie,they are staying with the current Socket we now use,this means that we will be able to upgrade a Duo Core to Core 2 Duo,all that will be required is a quick Bios flash for the new CPU.

They should do because this will make there Laptops more efficiant,run upto 40% cooler and will add upgradability to the user.If they dont then they will be guilty of crippling there products and preventing the customer from there right to upgrade system components as they wish.
