Desktop VPCJ11M0E - very slow and frustrating

Desktop VPCJ11M0E - its very slow and often freezes particularly opening/closing programmes, especially windows media player - I often lose control of the mouse as it dances around the screen. Maybe it likes the music, but it's incredibly frustrating! Help

Have you run a virus and malware scan?

Also have a look at the processes running (Device Manager) to see whether there is anything that is using a high percentage of CPU.
