Do I need to install Utilities&Libraries

Hello,
VGN-FS315SE.
I have just followed the instructions for creating the Recovery Discs and went on to do the Support Folder.
My question is, do I have to install anything after creating the Support Folder.
The reason for asking is the instructions say to install, but on the first one i tried to install I got the message "this item is already installed" I'm not good with computers hence my hesitance to do anything in case I mess things up.

No, you do not need to install anything, as you have discovered, they are already in place and all you have done is to create support folders for use at a later date, if necessary. This a badly worded set of instructions!
