Sony did run a voluntary replacement program, in 2008 I believe, for batteries with certain serial numbers for the following models..

VAIO models with VGP-BPS2B:
VGN-FE11S, VGN-FE11M, VGN-FE11H, VGN-FE11SR, VGN-FE11MR

However I hope you not expecting Sony to still be changing batteries in 2010..:smileyshocked:
