Dos boot disk help please

I am trying to boot into dos using a win98 boot disc to enable me to create a ghost image of my newly aquired BZ12vn hard drive. After booting cant seem to read anything from CD drive.

Can anyone recommend a specific boot disc to overcome this problem?

I would use Acronis True Image 2009 as it gives you a boot disc, a mirror you can add to incrementally, a boot recovery partition on your hard drive and a mountable mirror of your drive that you can restore the whole drive or pick just individual files to restore.

A more expensive solution maybe - but one of the best.
