Drivers for VAIOFE21M DVD-writer

my problem is that windows shows that my drive doesnt have drivers or that they are corrupted. i've downloaded drivers from support page but there is no drivers for dvd-drive.
could anyone help me, please?

Hi Nisargasid and welcome to Club Vaio.

The drivers for your DVD drive are the standard XP cdsys drivers. Windows XP does not support DVD writing and relies on WinDVD, Roxio or Nero.

Have you tried uninstalling the drive in Device Manager and rebooting your Vaio? This will force Windows to reinstall the drivers.

If this does not work, come back here as Rich has a Registry Fix that may work.

installing nero has helped.
