Dual Boot win7 and XP ???

HI Everyone, I have just bought a VPCF13ZOEB upgraded to 8GB RAM

I am new to win7 and to be honest I find the user interface confusing, and unclear, also when I load my main programs like nuendo the HD screen reduces text to a size I can hardly read.so what I was considering

was a dual boot system with win7 and winXP pro 64 bit as an option when you boot up.

I have successfully done this on a windows XP laptop, but was wondering if this can be done on this Sony on win7, especially as it has this ridiculous hidden partition with win7 on (real pain what happened to supplying the OS backup discs ?) Thanks in advance Regards Paul

When dual booting with another OS (ex: Vista or XP), you may not always have that OS partition show up in Computer with a driver letter in Windows 7. If this happens, then you will just need to add a drive letter to the OS (ex: Vista or XP) partition in Windows 7 Disk Management for it to show up in Computer with a driver letter.
