DVD-RW defect

Hello. I tried to recover my system and suddenly my dvd-rw makes sounds like "ROAAAR". Now my cd is defect and my dvd-rw dont read any other cds. I try to contact my customer, and he said i can talk to sony, better is to get the repair faster....now im searching for someone who could explain what is happened with my notebook. someone there who can? Thanks
