Effects Of Folding@Home On The CPU AND GPU

Hey most of you must know about of folding@home and the thread over here about it but i want to know how will it effect the cpu and gpu will it cause slower start-up of the OS and applications etc And how badly will it effect the memory ...... Im running AR21S at 2.0GHZ Inter Core 2 Duo im not sure the processors speed on the GPU though but its has 256MB dedicated memory, fold@home uses both GPU & CPU to there full capacity so im worried if it will cause the laptop to overheat effecting not only the motherboard but the plastic connections to melt as this laptop does not exactly have the best cooling system .......

All suggestions and idea's welcomed

more or less my laptop is open through out most of the day its closed when i sleep

Its a shame the PS4 can't be used for folding@home projects. They are doing one on covid-19 ! What do you think?
