Hi Wolfertinger,
Welcome to Club Vaio,
It is possible to extend the warranty of your Vaio by purchasing a Extension Warranty Pack.
You may wish to check the prices on other web sites as you may find it cheaper..

Hi again,
thanks for the reply. After some time I found the offer (not too easy to find it). Thanks also for the hint. I will try to get some offers to compare.
Have a nice day,
Wolfertinger...

Hi Wolfertinger you're welcome,
Hmm for some reason the link did not work...:smileyblush:
The product you need to extend the warranty is VAIO 2-year Extension Warranty Pack, PCGE-VPW2

Thalamus, do you know if this can be used for Vaios that come with an EU 2 year Warranty as standard?
The documentation is not too specific!

Blencogo, I'm not 100% sure but it states that 2 years additional years on top of standard for the following countries...
France, Germany, Italy, UK, Ireland, Switzerland, Greece, Netherlands, Belguim, Spain, Austria, Protugal, Denmark, Sweden, Finland and Czech Republic
As some countries such as Germany, Austria, Czech Republic and Portugal have 2 years warranty as standard, I would expect theese countries to have a further 2 years on registering the warranty..
See here for further info..:smileyhappy:

Also you do realise you need to do this within your first 12 months of ownership?
