We have received a new S3XP Vaio and all is setup I plug the machine with Windows XP pro SP2 in the port replicator and attach a external Samsung Syncmaster 213T to it.
The laptop is set to a resolution of 1280x800. I tried to use a kshortcut to have it appear on my external screen but nothing happesn so I adjust the display settings to Clone and set the laptop screen as primary and the samsung monitor as secondary.
The laptop is show normal screen but the external monitor is showing a widescreen view with black bars at top and bottom.
I tried all settings I could thionk of but the screen will not go full screen and the display if a littlebit dazed like.
SO then I adjusted the settings and made it single view and made the external monitor primary and the screen was pefect.
What I want is to have a laptop with its one view screen - the moment you plu it in a port replicator with monitor you should see the full screen of the laptop view
Can someone help me on this issue or point me in direction of documentation of something else ?
