fe31 cursor jumping

Hi i have a vgn FE31M purchased early Dec 2006 replaced as screen died 10 days later, both first and replacement suffer from the cursor jumping around the screen while typing, this has happened in several different programmes. is there a problem with IE7 and this machine?

Hi Ken and welcome to Club Vaio.

Have a look in Control Panel -> Mouse

look through the options and disable the 'Web Assistant'. Also it may be worth turning off the cursor when typing.

If this doesn't work, come back and we can try a few more things.
