Firmware update for Network Media Receiver

Hi...

Anyone else had problems updating the firmware? My NMR is connected to my RZ424 PC OK, ie. it plays tunes etc from my hard disc. I follow all the instructions for the update, putting NMR into update mode, but when I run the update software from my PC I get the message ".. cannot detect anything ready for update..." or words to that effect.

While I get this message, I can still ping the NMR from the PC (CMD prompt, ping (IP address) etc...).

Any thoughts anyone?

As per another post on a similar note, finally got it to work by unregistering NMR, turning off firewall, updating, then re-registering.

Hi,
I have an RZ-504 with NMR and since I updated it with the latest firmware, the directory organisation changed in "Picture" function? Do you have also the same problem? some of my files can not be read.
