I need more information. Can you be a bit more specific?

What do you mean by Flash memory? SD Cards? XD Cards? MicroDrives? Memory Sticks?

They are all Flash Memory devices...

Ah right I see.

Try this...

Go to Start > Control Panel >Performance and Maintenance > System

Inside the System dialog box go to the Hardware Tab and then click the Device Manager Button.

Click on PCMCIA Adaptors, then click Generic Cardbus Controller followed by the Uninstall button.

Restart Windows XP. Your PCMCIA driver should be reinstalled automatically.

Try using the flash memory card again. If this fails, then check VAIO-Link for firmware/driver updates.

Did you get a driver disk with this card? Because by the sounds of it, Windows XP needs a driver and cannot find one for this device.

If you have a CD with this card, then install it and reboot the computer.

Otherwise go to the manufacturers website and get the driver from there.

I don't know what else to suggest.:smileysad:
