Hard drive

I want to add another harddrive to my PCV-RX305 Sony Vaio PC. at the moment there is an 80Gb installed but it is getting full. There is room for another drive and a friend has suggested I get a 160Gb or an 200Gb drive. but which one's are compatible with my computer and is easy to install. I am on Windows XP Home.

Seeing as no one has replied to my request, can you tell me which connection I should look for when purchasing another hard drive.
