My Viao K215S just decided to throw up the following error message when trying to boot XP.. 'Unmountable_Boot_Volume'.
After numberous troubleshooting.. I have found that there are some bad sectors on the disk.. Also if I try and delete the boot partition using fdisk it's unable to write the information back to the disk...
Also the sony recovery cd is also unable to delete and recreate the partition..
Has anyone had this problem before. Do you think I need a new hard disk.... Thanks, Shaun
