HARDRIVE ICON HAS CHANGED

I have a vaio pcv-rs402 .
when i got it the 2 hard drive icons were grey boxes which were correct.
now the d drive is a disc with a jigsaw type shape on it

any help appreciated to change it back

I have since found out that this icon is the icon for ofice xp.
its a cd with office xp logo on it

any ideas on how to change it back?
