Yes both at home and at work it should be no problem at all, what difficulties are you having?

During bootup/login in WIndows XP Pro SP2 it interrupts the signal / shuts it down, so the external Samsung TFT says no signal.

What graphics card does you guys have?

I have a VAIO VGN-A295HP with a ATI Radeon Mobility 9200

I have tested the screen with Linux and then it works,
I am almost 100% certain that it has to be some settings thing.
It is just that I think I have tried everything now.
For example when I turn the TFT 90 degrees it will turn the picture on my laptop without showing anything on the TFT of course (neither before or after). It is so annoying, I have even ran the configuration app for the TFT where I can adjust the light strength, and then the screen is reachable, and I can even see the black (blank) screen change intensity.
