Help please

Hi,i have a vgn-b3vp and have done a complete re-install.Problem is i can not get the volume to work.Which driver do i need?

Also i want to dual install a Linux live cd/dvd but it will not boot from the disc!!!

What to do?Hit it with a hammer?Or hope some nice person here can help me out

Hi Pete,

Have you tried reinstalling all the original drivers from here? http://www.sony.co.uk/support/en/product/VGN-B3VP/updates .

On the linux front, have you gone into the BIOS of your machine and allowed it to boot from CD/DVD? You should probably press one of the following as soon as you swith the laptop on F1, F2, F9, F10 or Del.

the only key i hadn`t tried was delete,didn`t work!!!

Cd is set to boot first in bios.

Downloaded original drivers yesterday but will try again
