ANY BODY EXP ERIENCED TAKING OUT A VAIO-KEYBOARD TO CLEAN AND CHECK THE CONTACTS ?
OWN A VAIO PCG-K215S AND MY LEFT SHIFT BUTTON DOESN'T REACT ANYMORE - OR RARELY ON VERY HARD PRESSURE - PRETTY ANNOYING THAT.......................
GETS DUSTY BETWEEN AND UNDERNEATH THE KEYS SLOWLY TOO ! HOW CAN I BUILD THE WHOLE KEYBOARD OUT ?
IS THAT HARD TO DO - RISKY FOR THE NOTEBOOK - OR AN EASY THING TO DO.......................
REALLY AIN'T GOT THE TIME TO TURN IT IN SOMEWHERE...............
HELP VERY MUCH APRECIATED..........................

Hi explorer23,
There is little to be achieved by removing the keyboard as there are no serviceable parts underneath as such.
You could try either removing the key and remove any debris beneath, or a less risky solution would be to purchase a can of compressed air and give the keyboard a good blast.
If that has no effect then you may possibly have a defective ribbon connector between the keyboard and motherboard.
