How to remove a vaio care update

i have a vaio update that wont install as its older than the one i have. so how do i remove it from the update requests pls?

reinstalling Vaio Update and Vaio Care fixed the problem with Vaio Care,

he still has the same problem as me, that is:-  VAIO Peripherals Metadata 1.0.1.12090 update. I cannot install it, both automatically through Vaio Update and manually. Installator says that a newer version is installed already. this is what sony will hopefully put right.

Ok, hopefully a fix will appear soon, I know Sony have been made aware of the problem..
