I have a Viao VGC-RT1SU running Windows Vista, and I'm trying to find a solution to how to update my Nvidia graphics card driver. It's my understanding that Sony have decided not to release updates anymore, and I cannot download the driver directly from the Nvidia site as it says they are not compatible.
Is there a way to force an install? I've pretty much given up hope of Sony actually adressing this issue; the last driver update they released was 2 years ago. I've found tons of people with the same problem as me via google, but nobody seems to have an answer.
The card is a GeForce 9600m GT.

http://www.laptopvideo2go.com/drivers has custom inf files to help force the install.
unless you are having problems though.......
You could try the windows 7 driver from Sony downloads Graphics driver (nVidia) - 8.15.11.8640_0910130 32 bits 83.04 MB dated 23/10/2009 the original vista driver was 28/10/2008 but I would advise a full backup before trying and only do if you have a problem.
